Collection and use of personal data from customers, suppliers and other contractors

Please note that we will collect and use the personal data you provide because this is necessary to conclude and implement any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services. If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your details to send you a quotation, to determine what specifications or wishes a certain good or service should meet, to deliver goods or perform work for you, to send invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement. If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal details are also necessary to conclude and implement the agreement. In the case of purchasing, this is necessary to be able to inform you of what specifications or wishes we have for a particular item or service, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the contract. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with sufficient personal data, we may not be able to perform the activities mentioned above.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the performance of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we will need to provide your personal data to parties who supply us with parts, materials and products or who carry out activities on our behalf. Further, we use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, which includes your personal data. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server provider. Further, we use Microsoft Office and the associated storage features for emails and other files. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will be forwarded to the provider of this service.

Direct marketing

If you have given us your permission, we will save and use the personal data you have provided in order to inform you personally by email in the future about our existing and new products and services and possibly make you an offer for them. Each time we send you an advertising mailout, you have the option of informing us that you no longer wish to receive it. See the unsubscribe link for this at the bottom of each mailing.

Retention period of personal data

If you have requested a quotation from us but have not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Similarly, if we have received an offer from you but have not become a customer of yours, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you do become a customer of ours or we of yours, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period for which we are obliged to keep our records for the tax authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.
